2. Chaos Lich (Witch - Contagion/Essence Chain)

The Chaos Lich brings back the vibe of classic dot-casters but goes turbo with insane AoE and curse stacking. You drop Contagion, follow up with Essence Chain, and everything within sight explodes. Great for both clearing and chunking bosses.

Why it’s broken:

• Dot stacking shreds mobs

• Shield + ES = strong survivability

• Great boss uptime thanks to curses + mana leech tech

What to use:

• Main skills: Contagion, Essence Chain, Despair

• Buffs: Withering Presence, Blasphemy setup

• Support: Scavenge Plating, Ancestral Warrior Totem

My Take:

Want to play melee but still have AoE? This build gives you both. It plays like a melee tank that cleared med school and now throws surgical strikes.

4. Lightning Spear Amazon (Huntress - Lightning Projectile Build)

Speed. That’s what this build is all about. Lightning Spear Amazon doesn’t stop moving. It sets up lances, shoots lightning, and clears maps so fast you’ll think you’re back in PoE 1 Zoom League.

• Infusion buffs + Crit scaling are disgusting

• Great for fast mapping and boss farming

My Take:

If you love speed, this is your crack. The only issue is a slight mana hiccup in late game, but a few leech rolls and you’re golden.

5. Skeleton Death Machine (Witch - Minion Frost Mage Build)

This build is an absolute dream for anyone who’d rather kick back and let their minions do the dirty work. The Skeleton Death Machine unleashes an army of Frost Mage skeletons that spam icy blasts nonstop, shredding enemies while you focus on staying safe.

By stacking a massive Energy Shield pool and relying on Grim Feast for sustain, you become almost untouchable—your minions take every hit, and your screen quickly fills up with frozen, shattered mobs.

This build is truly a work of art. Here in the list, you can even call Skeleton Death Machine the Most Broken and the Most Powerful Build in PoE 2.

Why it’s broken:

• Minions in this build scale insanely well thanks to a strong synergy between passives and gear, turning your skeleton mages into absolute damage beasts.

  With a huge Energy Shield pool, your survivability is rock-solid, letting you tank hits without breaking a sweat.

  You barely need to lift a finger—just cast, chill, and watch your minions tear through content with zero stress.

What to use:

• Main: Skeletal Frostmages paired with support gems that boost their cold damage, cast speed, and survivability.

  Support: Grim Feast keeps your minions alive longer, Hypothermia amplifies cold damage by exploiting enemy weaknesses, and Pain Offering grants you a nice burst of energy shield recovery and a temporary damage boost.

  Gear: Rattling Scepter is your go-to weapon for boosting minion stats, combined with armor focused on high spirit and Energy Shield to keep you tanky.

  Ascendancy: The Infernalist path, especially with Beidat’s nodes, boosts your minions’ damage and survivability, while giving you some handy buffs to keep everything running smoothly.

My Take:

This build is pure chill vibes—super relaxing, incredibly effective, and it scales absurdly well for how little active effort it demands. It’s perfect for those long farming sessions when you want consistent, reliable damage without the hassle of micromanaging every move.
